Awana
Puggles is a weekly Bible-based club program for
preschoolers the year before Cubbies (older 2’s, younger
3’s). Our purpose is to help your children take their
first little steps on a lifelong spiritual journey.
In the
Bible, parents are instructed to teach their children
about God’s ways…in routine activities…passing along
their faith, little by little, day by day. The Puggles
program is designed to help leaders and parents in this
critical role. We believe Puggles will help get your
pre-Cubbies age children off to a solid start on the
road to someday coming to know, love, and serve the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Puggles
learn simple lessons through teaching cards, activities,
music and more. Puggles is a tool to help your toddlers
continue to know about the Lord while being surrounded
with loving parents and leaders.
The
children will learn four Bible precepts (the scripture
phrases that define each unit):
- God … made
everything Genesis 1:1
- God saw that it was
good. Genesis 1:10
- God is love. 1 John
4:8
- Give thanks. Psalm
105:1
Each unit
has eight individual lessons that teach the precept.
Puggles is currently only
open to members of Immanuel Baptist Church, or to
volunteer staff within the Awana Program. |
